Veterans
Labour party will support veterans and returning soldiers on the many key challenges they face such as
- mental health issues such as post-traumatic stress disorder (e.g. PTSD)
- physical health injuries
- ensure reduction of veterans falling into criminal justice system with additional support/treatment
- delivering commitments in armed services covenant (e.g. soldiers re-housing)
- funding and ensuring local councils fulfil obligations
