Level Playing Field in Business
Many small businesses such as local coffee shops, grocery shops, butchers, newsagents are under intense pressure due to the uneven playing field they are required to compete in.
Big corporations at times have an unfair advantage. Regulations can be reviewed, tax loopholes closed, resources for enforcement and collection increased and so on.
The Labour Party would support small and medium sized businesses as they are significant contributors to the local economies and play a fundamental part in building strong communities across the country.
