Human labour power has always been exploited. The only difference is the form this has taken. Strong trade unions and Workers rights have been fundamental in improving conditions and status of workers.

- ensure every young person has the opportunities to maximise their talents;
- ensure every women has the possibilities to achieve their goals;
- ensure every person in all regions has the benefits from an industrial strategy in the North and policy for rural areas.
Labour will also challenge the Conservative narrative which places the economy ahead of the well being of people and planet.
